CPR FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY- this course is a modular course that teaches rescuers skills in CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. It presents information about the AHA adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also presents information on the AHA pediatric infant and child Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of sudden infant death syndrome, and prevention of the most common fatal injuries in infants and children. 2 hours $35.00*
HEARTSAVER FACTS– course combines adult CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) with basic level first aid procedures. Students of this course will be taught how to perform adult CPR, relieve a foreign-body airway obstruction, use a barrier device during rescue breathing, use an AED and provide first aid for acute injuries and sudden illnesses. 6 hours $65.00*
HEARTSAVER CPR- is a modular course that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. 4 hours $45.00*
HEARTSAVER AED- teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an Automatic External Defibrillator. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of 4 major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and foreign-body airway obstruction. 5 hours $50.00*
BLS FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS- The Healthcare Provider Course is for the professional rescuer and anyone who has plans in the future of becoming an Instructor. The Healthcare Provider Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, bag-valve mask, and oxygen), use of an AED and relief of foreign body airway obstruction. The class is geared to the Healthcare Providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMT's, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, physician assistants, medical or nursing students, aids, medical or nursing assistants, and other allied health personnel. 8 hours $65.00*
